Dave and Diane, the Directors here at Child’s Play are parents as well as business people. They know how precious children are and when they select toys to add to the range of quality products Child’s Play brings to the New Zealand public, they ensure that these toys are manufactured to the highest quality. They do checks on each range with the manufacturers to ensure Toy Safety Standards are met. They take pride in knowing that each range they bring into New Zealand can be presented to the market with the confidence that they have done everything possible to ensure the safety of our children.
In recent months there has been much publicity about the recall of some toy brands due to lead in the paint. We would like to assure our customers that ALL our toys are 100% lead paint free and we have had confirmation from all of our suppliers that they are not sourcing products from the manufacturers in question. Each of our manufacturers has safety procedures in place to test their products to ensure all toys comply or exceed toy safety standards.

Parents do need to be aware that ANY toy can be dangerous to a child if that child is left unsupervised and all toys should be checked periodically to ensure that they are still in good condition.
